We are seeking a motivated and enthusiasticJunior Sales Executive to join a growing business within the food manufacturing sector. This role is ideal for someone with experience in sales, retail, food service, or hospitality who is looking to develop a long-term career in business development and account management within the FMCG industry. The successful candidate will work closely with the sales team to build and maintain customer relationships, identify new business opportunities, and promote a portfolio of food products to retail, wholesale, and food service customers across Ireland. Key Responsibilities Support the sales team in developing and maintaining strong relationships with retail, wholesale, and food service customers. Identify and develop new business opportunities across the retail, hospitality, and food service sectors. Conduct customer visits and product presentations to showcase the product range and build commercial relationships. Assist in managing existing customer accounts, ensuring excellent service and customer satisfaction. Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to support sales planning and business growth. Liaise with internal departments, including production, logistics, and marketing, to ensure efficient order fulfilment and customer service. Maintain accurate customer records, sales reports, and CRM information. Support promotional campaigns, trade exhibitions, and product launches as required. Work towards individual and team sales targets while contributing to overall business objectives. Skills & ExperienceEssential 13 years' experience in sales, retail, food service, hospitality, or a customer-facing commercial role. A genuine interest in food manufacturing and the FMCG sector. Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Self-motivated, organised, and eager to learn and develop. Strong customer service focus with good commercial awareness. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications; experience using CRM systems is advantageous. Full clean driving licence. Desirable Experience working with retailers, wholesalers, distributors, or food service customers. Knowledge of the Irish FMCG or food distribution market.
