CGI Federal is seeking a Senior AWS Cloud Architect to lead architecture design across multiple cloud environments supporting a large-scale innovation and analytics program. This position will define enterprise cloud patterns, design secure and scalable solutions, and guide implementation teams across a complex technical ecosystem. This position is located in our Fairfax, VA or Lafayette, LA office; however, a hybrid working model is acceptable. Your Future Duties And Responsibilities
· Architect multi-environment AWS infrastructures supporting research, development, testing, and production workloads. · Develop secure IAM architectures aligned to least-privilege principles. · Provide solution architecture for application modernization, COTS integration, and cloud-native application design. · Govern architectural decisions and maintain system design documentation. · Support development of ATO-aligned materials and security architecture artifacts. · Optimize cloud performance and cost management. · Participate in Agile planning and provide architecture oversight across teams. · May serve as the program's Vendor Technical Lead, coordinating daily technical activities. · Deployment/operationalization activities. · Ongoing maintenance/operations partnership. · Conversion of prototypes into production tools (prototype-to-prod). Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role
Required Qualifications · Extensive experience architecting enterprise AWS solutions. · Deep expertise in cloud networking, IAM, security architectures, and multi-account strategies. · Demonstrated experience producing enterprise architecture documentation. · US Citizenship and ability to meet federal clearance requirements. Desired: · Experience with cloud cost optimization and enterprise governance models. · Experience guiding teams within Agile delivery frameworks. Skills
