is partnering with a growing organization to identify an experienced
Payroll Manager / Senior Payroll Specialist
to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a payroll professional who thrives in a high-volume, multi-state environment and enjoys working independently while collaborating across multiple departments.
This role will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of payroll for a large employee population across multiple entities and all 50 states. The ideal candidate will bring strong ADP expertise, a hands-on approach to payroll, and the ability to effectively communicate with leaders throughout the organization.
Responsibilities
Process high-volume, multi-state payroll for 1,000+ employees across multiple entities. Utilize ADP to process payroll, troubleshoot issues, and maintain employee payroll records. Partner with managers, directors, and HR teams to resolve payroll-related questions and concerns. Review payroll data for accuracy, including earnings, deductions, taxes, garnishments, and benefits. Assist with payroll audits, reconciliations, and reporting requirements. Collaborate with payroll accounting resources to support payroll-related journal entries and month-end activities. Ensure payroll processes are completed within established deadlines. Identify opportunities for process improvements and increased efficiency. Qualifications
Required
Strong hands-on experience with
ADP payroll systems . Extensive
multi-state payroll
experience. Proven success processing
high-volume payrolls (1,000+ employees) . Ability to independently manage payroll operations with minimal supervision. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with managers and directors across the organization. Professional maturity, sound judgment, and strong problem-solving skills. Preferred
Prior payroll lead or supervisory experience. Exposure to payroll accounting, including journal entries and month-end support. Experience working in large, complex payroll environments with multiple entities. Process improvement mindset and continuous improvement experience. Pay Details:
$40.00 to $50.00 per hour
