Location: San Antonio State Supported Living Center, 6711 S New Braunfels Ave, San Antonio, TX
Salary: $2,306.75 - $3,139.75 per month
Shift: Day (8 AM - 5 PM)

Brief Job Description Work in an environment that values and respects those we serve and believes in the mission that all people can achieve a higher level of wellness and independence. The state supported living centers serve people with intellectual and developmental disabilities who are medically fragile or have behavioral problems and provide campus-based direct services and supports.
Essential Job Functions (EJFs)
Attend work on a regular basis in accordance with agency leave policy and perform other duties as assigned.
Produce and proof correspondence, reports, logs, document requests, and other related forms.
Attend meetings and transcribe notes.
Assemble, organize, and tabulate data.
File and maintain supplies, forms, records, and reports.
Perform data entry and retrieval.
Assist with HRC meetings.
Conduct audits.
Send out email with pertinent information/data.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs)
Knowledge of office procedures and of spelling, grammar, punctuation, and arithmetic.
Skill in the use of computers and office equipment.
Ability to prepare and maintain records, files, and reports.
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in written form.
Knowledge of the facility Operating Procedures Manual (OPM).
General knowledge of ICF/IID standards.
Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times.

Initial Screening Criteria
Graduation from a standard high school or equivalent.
General knowledge of ICF/IID standards.
Two (2) years’ work experience in clerical or administrative duties.
Experience with audits.
Additional Information
Applicants must pass a fingerprint criminal background check, pre‑employment drug screen, and registry checks including the Client Abuse/Neglect Reporting System (CANRS), Nurse Aide, Medication Aide and Employee Misconduct and HHS List of Excluded Individuals/Entities (LEIE).
Male applicants aged 18 to 25 must be registered with the Selective Service.
All State Supported Living Center Employees are subject to random drug testing.
Flexibility in work hours may be required; position may require overtime and/or extended hours and willingness to work weekends and holidays.
