This is an excellent opportunity to join a professional, collaborative, and client-focused organisation where you will provide comprehensive administrative and client service support to Financial Advisors, ensuring the efficient delivery of life, pension, and investment services.
The successful candidate will be highly organised, proactive, and committed to delivering an exceptional client experience while ensuring compliance with industry regulations and internal procedures.
Key Responsibilities Prepare and process new business applications through to policy issue.
Manage Letters of Authority (LOAs) and Transfer of Agency (TOA) requests.
Complete client onboarding, including Anti-Money Laundering (AML) verification and compliance documentation.
Prepare client summary reports, policy reviews and supporting documentation for Financial Advisors.
Process policy servicing requests including fund switches, premium amendments, top-ups, withdrawals and cancellations.
Administer retirement, death and serious illness claims through to completion.
Maintain accurate client records using CRM systems and provider portals.
Respond promptly and professionally to client and provider enquiries by phone and email.
Liaise with Financial Advisors, product providers and internal teams to ensure efficient case management.
Provide general administrative support to the advisory team.
Ensure all work is completed in line with regulatory requirements and company compliance procedures.
Candidate Requirements Minimum of 3 years' experience in life, pensions and investment administration within a brokerage, financial advisory firm or life assurance provider.
Strong knowledge of life assurance, pensions, investments and financial planning products.
Good understanding of regulatory requirements including AML and the Consumer Protection Code.
APA (Life & Pensions) qualification is essential.
Currently working towards the QFA qualification, or already QFA qualified.
Excellent organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Word and Excel.
Experience using CRM systems and life company portals is highly desirable.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently while contributing positively within a collaborative team environment.
Desirable Experience Experience administering self-administered pensions or group pension schemes.
Knowledge of financial planning software and back-office systems.
Experience working within a client-focused financial services environment.
