Job Summary Business Data Analyst III – Regulatory Reporting supports CCAR Y‑14M/Q reporting processes, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of regulatory submissions, and managing schedule production within a complex data environment. Key Responsibilities Develop expertise in CCAR processes and FR Y‑14 reporting, ensuring compliance and communicating regulatory impacts. Use SAS/SQL for data research, extraction, and analysis, performing root‑cause analysis and identifying trends and data issues. Collaborate with Business, Risk, Technology, and Data teams to support data sourcing, system enhancements, and issue resolution through working sessions. Maintain documentation of data mappings, business rules, and requirements to ensure audit readiness. Track and manage code changes, data issues, and control findings, proactively driving resolution with stakeholders. Lead initiatives and contribute to broader regulatory efforts, managing timelines, risks, and deliverables. Execute reconciliations between Y‑14 outputs and Y‑9C, partnering with Finance to investigate variances. Prepare and present Executive Review materials that highlight key insights, risks, and actions. Develop and implement Code Change Requests (CCRs) with impact analysis and development teams. Interpret regulatory requirements with Accounting Policy and business partners. Support development of data quality rules and edit checks, validating logic through profiling and SAS/SQL testing. Ensure end‑to‑end data lineage and traceability for audit and regulatory purposes. Manage data issues and remediation efforts using data‑driven investigation techniques. Support regulatory production cycles, ensuring accurate, complete, and timely submissions. Areas of Focus CCAR Y‑14 M/Q Reporting: Prepare and submit CCAR Y‑14 M/Q reports in accordance with regulatory guidelines. Data Analysis: Conduct thorough data analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and potential issues in the financial data. Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of the CCAR Y‑14 M/Q reporting process. Collaboration: Work closely with cross‑functional teams and auditors, including bank regulators and internal audit. Regulatory Compliance: Stay current with regulatory changes related to CCAR reporting requirements. Process Improvement: Identify and implement automation and efficiency opportunities, improving controls. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Deep specialized and/or broad knowledge within the professional discipline. Sound understanding of business and organizational strategies and processes. Ability to interpret internal and external business challenges and implement best practices to improve products, processes, or services. Ability to lead complex projects with significant risk exposure. Ability to exercise judgment in solving technical, operational, and organizational challenges aligned with business priorities. Sophisticated analytical skills and the ability to solve complex technical and business problems. Ability to influence others to adopt new perspectives, tools, and automation. Focus on process automation to improve efficiency. Knowledge of the industry’s competitive landscape and regulatory factors shaping the industry. Preferred Qualifications Master’s degree or MBA and 10 years of related experience. Previous experience in the banking industry.
