The position will also manage a team of operations and service personnel to meet market expectations. In addition to reporting all related business activities to company management, the candidate is responsible for hiring and training operational, marketing and sales support employees. This role offers an opportunity to become an equity partner. The position will report directly to the CEO.
Responsible for sales to key accounts
Analyze the sales, marketing and pricing strategies
Support the development of budgets, processes and products for the assigned market segment
Gathering and analyzing intelligence on market processes and activities of competitors
Communication and negotiations with vendors
Communicate with customers and vendors to maintain optimum customer satisfaction
Lead, motivate, support the team
Qualifications
5+ years of Irrigation and Landscape supply experience
5+ years of sales experience
5+ years of management and customer‑facing experience
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
Experience in marketing and social media marketing preferred
Experience hiring and training individuals
