Position Summary: Responsible for portfolio retention and new business development in the New Jersey/New York Territory
Hours: Monday through Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm (must be willing to work nights and weekends, if necessary)
Salary: Base salary + commission
Job Description
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the assigned territory
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention
Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, competitive landscape, and potential growth areas
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to develop and deliver effective sales strategies
Prepare and deliver sales presentations and proposals to prospective clients
Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with customers
Provide regular reports on sales activities and CRM updates
Requirements
Proven experience in territory sales or related field
Excellent account management and customer service skills
Technical sales background is preferred
Ability to analyze market trends and competitor activities
Strong business development and negotiation skills
Self‑motivated with a results‑driven approach
Excellent communication and presentation skills
