Position Advanced Business Intelligence Engineer – Business Intelligence & Analytics team within the Software Engineering organization. What you’ll do Design and build data models based on analytics and reporting requirements, data sources, and mapping specifications. Develop programs and code using advanced analytics tools such as Qlik, Tableau, and Power BI to visualize data and deliver insights from complex transformation and mapping specs. Provide technical thought leadership on BI tools and analytical concepts across reporting, dashboards, and projects. Partner with business stakeholders to deliver system projects, including planning, resource management, and deliverables. Troubleshoot and resolve data and reporting issues using advanced problem‑solving techniques. Provide level‑of‑effort estimates for new project work, enhancements, and fixes. Support the migration of the existing data lake to a new cloud platform. What you’ll need Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field. Minimum of 2 years of business intelligence and analytics experience, including interactive dashboards with QlikView, Tableau, NoSQL, and big data. Strong knowledge of data warehousing fundamentals and hands‑on experience designing large databases and data warehouses in a team environment. Proven experience across the full BI solution lifecycle: analysis, design, development, testing, and implementation using data‑warehouse/data‑mart design, ETL, and client/server applications. Experience writing technical and functional design documents (TDD, FSD), test plans, gap analyses, and source‑to‑target mappings across Agile and Waterfall methodologies. Strong pattern recognition and predictive modeling skills. Preferred qualifications Knowledge of Python, Scala, and open‑source data tools. Proficiency with version control tools such as Git, GitLab, and GitHub. Experience with wholesale and/or retail industry systems – procurement, merchandising, financial, warehouse, and retail. Environment Remote. Up to 10% travel may be required to client and customer locations; a valid driver’s license is required. Benefits Base salary range: $101,000.00 – $138,600.00, plus medical, dental, vision, disability, 401(k), paid time off, and other benefits.
