Responsibilities Develop and deliver complex data solutions to accomplish technology and business goals. Code, design and deliver tasks associated with the integration, cleaning, transformation, and control of data in operational and analytics data systems. Work with stakeholders, Product Owners, and Software Engineers to aid in the implementation of data requirements, analyze performance, conduct research and troubleshoot issues. Perform proficient data engineering practices and apply design and architectural patterns. Participate in estimating work necessary to realize a story/requirement through the delivery lifecycle. Code complex solutions to integrate, clean, transform and control data in operational and/or analytics data systems per defined acceptance criteria. Define and build data pipelines that enable faster, better, data-informed decision-making within the business. Contribute to existing test suites (integration, regression, performance); analyze test reports, identify test issues, and triage root causes. Remote work may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite. Required Skills & Experience Master's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Engineering (any), or related field, and 3 years of experience in the job offered or a related IT occupation. 3 years of experience in each of the following: Utilizing Hadoop/Big Data and scalable distributed systems to provide analytical insights using terabytes of data; Configuring and tuning Hadoop services including Hive, Spark, HBase, HDFS, Impala, Kafka; Developing applications on container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes and Docker to build dynamic and scalable applications; Designing solutions to deploy scalable machine learning models on big data platforms; Developing batch and real-time data pipelines to ingest data into a Data Warehouse; Using source code version control systems and Jenkins for continuous and efficient delivery of data products.
