Overview Customer Service Associate at MatÆs Pharmacy is the first point of contact for customers when they enter or call our store. You will be responsible for greeting customers entering the establishment, maintaining a clean and tidy checkout area and keeping records of cash/credit transactions. You will also answer incoming calls, direct calls to the appropriate associates, and scan documents into the system.
Responsibilities
Greet customers entering the establishment
Utilize a cash register to perform sales transactions
Assist customers with their shopping needs and questions
Maintain a clean and organized sales floor
Answer incoming calls and assist callers with their needs or transfer them to the appropriate department
Resolve customer complaints and provide relevant information
Put out products from wholesalers and remove expired merchandise
Direct callers to the appropriate associate and communicate tactfully and pleasantly
Provide information such as company address, directions, fax numbers, website and other related information
Guide customers with timely and relevant information
Qualifications
At least 16 years of age or older
Excellent customer service skills
Phone etiquette skills
Computer and office equipment skills
Friendliness and patience
Cheerful and polite at all times
Excellent verbal communication
Customer satisfaction-oriented
Strong communication skills in English
