Support business decisions by providing quantitative and qualitative data analysis and reporting of patterns, insights, and trends to leadership via dashboards and reports. Analyze business problems and issues using business intelligence tools that incorporate data from internal and external sources. Work independently to interpret and analyze complex business challenges that have a significant impact on the function or branch. Specialized skill set and proficiency with procedures and analysis techniques. Recognized as an expert in own area within the company.
Responsibilities
Collect, aggregate, and analyze data from multiple internal and external sources, including structured and unstructured data sets, to drive insights into business performance.
Develop, maintain, and manage advanced reporting, dashboards, and BI solutions
Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns and prepare ongoing reports and data visualizations (e.g., charts, dashboards, heat maps) to support business decisions
Produce actionable reports that show key performance indicators, identify areas of improvement into current operations, and display root cause analysis of problems.
Use analytics and metrics to improve processes and provide data-driven forecasts of potential costs, risks, and profits of new business initiatives.
Understand data gaps and tie data components together for visualizations
Communicate findings and insight to stakeholders and provide business strategy recommendations for optimizing business performance.
Provide reporting solutions and respond to ad-hoc report requests across multiple business areas.
Create specifications for reports and analysis based on business needs and required or available data elements
Assist with the development and enhancement of practices, procedures, and instructions
Develop and maintain strong working relationships with team members, subject matter experts, and leaders; work with senior management on complex issues
Lead medium to large projects and initiatives
Manage a portfolio of dashboards, monitor use and performance, and make recommendations to management for enhancement or changes
Qualifications
7-10 years of experience in data and systems analysis
Strong experience in data visualization and dashboard development using modern BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Excel, ServiceNow, Python, or similar), with a focus on delivering clear, actionable insights
Subject matter expertise within a business domain or specialization, with the ability to understand and connect data across multiple functions and disciplines
Strong presentation and storytelling skills, with the ability to build executive-ready materials and clearly communicate complex data and insights in a way that is easily understood and actionable for leadership
Expert knowledge of reporting capabilities of existing ERP, CRM and/or database software vendors
Expert skill using statistical methods, mathematical techniques, forecasting, cost-benefit analysis
Advanced skill with data analysis tools and programming languages such as Python or R
Skilled in Excel, including moderately complex data formulas, data connections, and statistics
Expert knowledge of reporting/dashboarding best practices and data research and root cause analysis techniques
Proven leadership and stakeholder management skills, with a demonstrated ability to influence executive decision-makers
Interpersonal skills
Expert knowledge of data integration, cleaning and validation techniques Advanced research skills in the ability to complete data research, business research, reporting/dashboarding best practices research, root cause analysis, needs assessment
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Statistics, or related field
Desired Qualifications
7+ years of experience in data analysis and reporting
Experience with ServiceNow
Hours
Monday - Friday, 8:00AM - 4:30PM

Salary Range: $127,200 - $163,100 annually
