Duties and Responsibilities
Lead, coach, and develop the sales team to achieve sales, market share, and profitability goals.
Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers while supporting strategic account growth.
Assist the sales team with prospecting, equipment sales, rental opportunities, and customer negotiations.
Develop sales forecasts and monitor territory performance through established sales metrics and regular performance reviews.
Conduct ride-alongs, performance evaluations, and ongoing coaching for Sales Representatives and Product Specialists.
Coordinate equipment availability, demonstrations, and customer training to support sales efforts.
Plan and lead sales meetings and training focused on products, sales strategies, and market opportunities.
Collaborate with Branch Managers and Regional leadership to identify key customer opportunities and improve business performance.
Travel approximately 50–60% within the assigned territory.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent management experience preferred.
Previous sales management experience in construction equipment, heavy equipment, or a related industry preferred.
Strong leadership, coaching, communication, and relationship-building skills.
Ability to analyze sales performance and financial reports, including P&L statements.
Proficient with Microsoft Office and CRM/business systems.
Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening.
