Job Overview Network Engineer – full‑time, Active DoD Top Secret clearance required. Supports operations in Quantico, VA. Responsibilities Provide network engineering, administration and cybersecurity support for multi‑classification networks and infrastructure. Create virtualized environments for test events, ensuring operational readiness and troubleshooting during execution. Administer network systems: apply patches, harden systems, review logs. Support RMF compliance activities, including documentation and vulnerability analysis. Integrate server and virtual hosting technologies into secure network architecture. Required Qualifications Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in IT, Cybersecurity, or related field (ABET/CAE-accredited) OR 5+ years’ experience in network design, infrastructure, and security. Technical skills: Hands‑on experience configuring routers, switches, firewalls; applying STIGs, IAVA compliance, and DoD cybersecurity policies; familiarity with RMF, network segmentation, defense‑in‑depth design; familiarity with virtualized networking infrastructure and SDN. Preferred: working knowledge of LAN/WAN architecture, VPN security, PKI, common attack vectors; familiarity with SNMP tools and traffic analysis; experience supporting DoD environments. Certifications & Clearance Active DoD Top Secret security clearance. Proficiency with modern IT tools and infrastructure technologies. Travel & Passport Some overnight stays possible. OCONUS locations: (list omitted). Work Environment Full‑time onsite role on USMC Base Quantico in Quantico, VA. Standard desk/computer work, flexible activity; may travel short distances within site. Background & Security Employment contingent on successful background investigation. Alcohol and drug screening may be required.
