We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to design, build, and maintain secure, scalable CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure supporting enterprise applications. This role focuses on DevSecOps, infrastructure automation, cloud deployment, containerization, and operational excellence across AWS and on-premises environments. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with cloud platforms, automation tools, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and modern DevOps practices.
Key Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain secure Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
Collaborate with architects, software engineers, product owners, and product managers to implement DevSecOps solutions.
Continuously improve deployment automation, build pipelines, and release processes.
Automate provisioning, configuration, and maintenance of cloud and on-premises environments.
Manage infrastructure across development, testing, and production environments.
Design, implement, customize, deploy, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and configuration management solutions.
Support migration of on-premises applications to public cloud platforms.
Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, and Ansible.
Build and maintain containerized environments using Docker, Kubernetes, and Amazon EKS.
Manage AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, Athena, and related cloud services.
Develop automation scripts using Python, Boto, or similar technologies.
Implement and maintain build automation using Maven, Gradle, Ant, or equivalent tools.
Monitor production and test environments using CloudWatch, Datadog, Splunk, ELK Stack, or similar monitoring platforms.
Support Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), observability, monitoring, and operational health initiatives.
Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure, deployment, and build issues.
Collect and report operational metrics supporting SLA compliance and capacity planning.
Participate in Agile development processes and DevOps best practices.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
10+ years of experience in Software Engineering, including at least 5 years in a hands-on DevOps role.
Strong experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and/or Microsoft Azure.
Experience designing and managing CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, Concourse, Git, Artifactory, Veracode, or uDeploy.
Experience with build automation tools including Maven, Gradle, or Ant.
Hands-on experience with Ansible, Chef, Docker, Kubernetes, CloudFormation, and Amazon EKS.
Experience monitoring enterprise environments using CloudWatch, Datadog, Splunk, or ELK Stack.
Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix operating systems.
Experience with AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and Athena.
Experience developing Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and CloudFormation.
Experience scripting with Python, Boto, or similar languages.
Understanding of RESTful services and modern application architectures.
Experience supporting automation, unit testing, and integration testing.
Experience migrating enterprise applications to cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, GCP, or OpenStack.
Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Experience working in Agile environments.
Certifications
AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer certification required.
