Position Description This position functions as an MDHHS Azure DevOps and Tools Administrator within the Agency Support department. It incorporates the DTMB DevSecOps methodology into the tools and platforms within the scope of responsibility. The role provides technical expertise for the complex and intricate MDHHS Azure DevOps and Containerization Tool Stack, including support and administration of the OpenShift Container Platform (OCP) Projects for MDHHS and Azure DevOps Project Administration for MDHHS, as well as support for integrations with IIS, Apache Tomcat, JBoss, SQL Server, Windows, Linux, Oracle, and more.
Signing Bonus Eligible for a sign‑on bonus up to $2,500: up to $1,250 paid upon new hire and the remainder paid after satisfactory completion of the initial 12‑month probationary period. This does not apply to current state employees.
Position Location / Remote Office The office location is Lansing, MI. The State of Michigan does not offer employment to out‑of‑state applicants who do not plan to relocate. DTMB offers a hybrid work option requiring two days on‑site and three days remote per week.
Education and Experience Educational requirements: Bachelor’s degree with at least 21 semester (32 term) credits in computer science, data processing, computer information systems, data communications, networking, systems analysis, computer programming, information assurance, IT project management, or mathematics. Experience requirements: Three years of professional experience equivalent to IT Infrastructure or Programmer/Analyst P11, or one year equivalent to IT Infrastructure or Programmer/Analyst P12; or an associate’s degree with 16 semester (24 term) credits plus at least two years as an application programmer, computer operator, or IT technician and four years of professional experience equivalent to IT Infrastructure or Programmer/Analyst P11, or one year equivalent to IT Infrastructure or Programmer/Analyst P12; or high school level education plus at least three years as an application programmer, computer operator, or IT technician and four years of professional experience equivalent to IT Infrastructure or Programmer/Analyst P11, or one year equivalent to IT Infrastructure or Programmer/Analyst P12.
