Overview The role drives strategic decision-making by transforming complex, multi-source datasets into actionable business intelligence. Operating at the intersection of product, finance, and operations, the analyst will design robust data models and self-service dashboards that enable executives and team leads to monitor key performance indicators in real time. This position is critical for scaling data-driven operations. The analyst will collaborate closely with analytics engineers to ensure data hygiene, define consistent business metrics, and build reliable reporting pipelines that serve as the single source of truth for the entire organization.
Key Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain production-grade dashboards in Tableau or Looker to track critical business KPIs and product adoption metrics
Write complex SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze datasets across cloud data warehouses like Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift
Partner with product and business operations teams to define key performance metrics and translate business requirements into technical data specifications
Perform deep-dive exploratory data analyses to identify operational bottlenecks, customer churn risks, and revenue growth opportunities
Collaborate with analytics engineers to design and optimize dbt (data build tool) models, ensuring high data quality and schema consistency
Establish data governance best practices, documenting data definitions, metric logic, and dashboard schemas for company-wide alignment
What We Are Looking For
3–6 years of experience in a business analyst, data analyst, or analytics engineering role, preferably within a fast-growing B2B SaaS or technology company
Expert-level SQL skills, including advanced analytical functions, window functions, and query optimization techniques
Hands-on experience developing enterprise-grade BI dashboards and data models in Looker (LookML) or Tableau
Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, dimensional modeling, and modern data stack architectures
Strong communication skills with a proven track record of translating complex technical analysis into clear business recommendations for non-technical stakeholders
Bonus: Experience with dbt (data build tool), Python (pandas/numpy), or managing version control via Git workflows
