Texas Capital Bank, headquartered in Dallas with branches across Texas, is seeking a Network Security Engineer to design, implement, and manage security controls for its on‑premise and cloud networks. This role focuses on protecting the bank’s web traffic and ensuring secure operations across all corporate networks. Key Responsibilities Optimize web proxy policies, governance, and posture across all Texas Capital networks. Partner with the Enterprise Browser Security Team to design, deploy, and manage browser security solutions. Act as the escalation point to the SOC for network‑security related events and anomalies. Develop and enforce security policies for browser usage, network protection, application control, and privilege management. Automate security controls and privilege management solutions using SIEM, SOAR, and other security platforms. Collaborate with IT, application, and security teams to secure deployment and operation throughout the network, including cloud tenants. Support security‑awareness initiatives related to safe browser, network, and application usage. Maintain clear documentation for security configurations, incident response, and operational procedures. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Minimum 8 years of experience in information security, security infrastructure, or technical services. 5+ years of direct experience with web proxy technologies. 2+ years of experience in firewalls, IDS/IPS, WAFs, and DDoS mitigation. Experience with application privilege‑management tools and enforcing least‑privilege principles. Strong background in networking, routing, and TCP/IP. Experience with network and cloud architecture, segmentation, policy enforcement, and governance in enterprise environments. Familiarity with scripting (PowerShell, Python, Bash) for automation. Experience integrating network security technologies with SIEM/SOAR platforms. Vendor‑specific or industry certifications (e.g., CISSP) are a plus. Technical Skills Deep understanding of network‑based attacks with emphasis on web threats and mitigation strategies. Knowledge of Windows, macOS, and mobile network security best practices. Familiarity with cloud‑based browser security solutions. Strong knowledge of industry security standards and guidelines such as NIST, CSF, RMO. Strong knowledge of security technologies including firewalls, detection/prevention systems, and encryption. Ability to translate architectural requirements and design into implementation. Strong analytical and communication skills for translating information from multiple sources. Soft Skills Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment. Ability to manage competing priorities across large, complex projects and deliverables.
