London | Hybrid Salary | £120,000 + Bonus I'm currently partnering with a growing Data & AI consultancy that is investing heavily in its Databricks capability and looking to appoint a Databricks Solutions Pre-Sales Architect to play a key role in the growth of the practice. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who combines deep Databricks expertise with strong client-facing and commercial skills. You'll work closely with sales teams, delivery leaders, clients, and Databricks stakeholders to shape solutions, lead technical discovery and support strategic enterprise opportunities from qualification through to close. What You'll Be Doing
Leading technical discovery sessions and solution design workshops Building and delivering Databricks demos, proof-of-concepts, and reference architectures Supporting complex bids, proposals, and enterprise sales opportunities Presenting to stakeholders ranging from engineers and architects through to C‑suite executives Partnering closely with Databricks field teams on joint pursuits Creating reusable assets, accelerators, and best‑practice frameworks Contributing to the ongoing development of a growing Databricks practice What They're Looking For
3+ years' experience in Pre‑Sales, Solutions Architecture, or Technical Consulting Hands‑on Databricks experience, supported by at least one Databricks certification Experience working with AWS, Azure, or GCP environments Proven ability to lead discovery, build POCs, and influence enterprise technology decisions Strong expertise in one or more of: Data Engineering & Lakehouse Architecture Data Warehouse Modernisation & Migration AI, ML & Generative AI on Databricks Unity Catalog & Data Governance Nice to Have
Experience working for a Databricks partner or consultancy Existing relationships within the Databricks ecosystem Exposure to Snowflake, Synapse, dbt, or other modern data platforms Why Consider This Role?
