The ICQA Team Lead is responsible for overseeing daily Inventory Control and Quality Assurance activities to ensure inventory accuracy, process compliance, and product quality standards are maintained. This role leads a team of ICQA associates, supports audit processes, investigates discrepancies, and drives continuous improvement initiatives within the facility.
The ICQA Team Lead serves as the primary point of contact for inventory accuracy and quality-related issues on the floor.
Key Responsibilities Inventory Control
Lead and execute daily cycle counts and inventory audits.
Monitor inventory accuracy and investigate discrepancies.
Perform root cause analysis for inventory variances and shrink.
Ensure accurate system transactions within WMS/ERP.
Support physical inventory processes and reconciliations.
Partner with Operations to correct process gaps impacting inventory.
Quality Assurance
Conduct product inspections to ensure compliance with company standards.
Monitor inbound, outbound, and returns processes for quality compliance.
Document defects, damages, and process non‑compliance.
Implement corrective and preventive actions.
Ensure adherence to SOPs and safety regulations.
Team Leadership
Support ICQA associates during daily operations.
Assign tasks and ensure productivity targets are met.
Train new team members in inventory and quality procedures.
Escalate operational issues to ICQA Manager as needed.
Reporting & Metrics
Track and report key metrics such as inventory accuracy rate, shrink and adjustments, defect rates, and audit completion rates.
Maintain detailed documentation of discrepancies and corrective actions.
Support management reporting with data analysis.
Continuous Improvement
Identify process improvement opportunities.
Participate in Lean, Six Sigma initiatives.
Recommend procedural changes to reduce errors and improve accuracy.
Lead projects focused on reducing workplace injuries, near‑misses, and safety incidents.
Qualifications Education
High school diploma or GED required.
Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
Experience
2–5 years of experience in inventory control, quality assurance, or warehouse operations.
Experience with WMS or ERP systems.
Strong knowledge of warehouse processes and inventory control procedures.

Physical Requirements
Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 40 lbs.
Comfortable working in a warehouse or production environment.
Compensation The compensation rate is $19.50/hour which represents base pay only and does not include short‑term or long‑term incentive compensation.
