Architect, build, and maintain a scalable data platform encompassing a data lake, analytics layer, and enterprise sandboxes.
Design and implement robust ETL pipelines using Python, Apache Spark, and Airflow to ingest, transform, and catalog large‑scale data sets.
Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into reliable data solutions.
Ensure data quality, governance, and security across the platform, leveraging AWS services and best‑practice data modeling techniques.
Mentor junior engineers, establish coding standards, and drive continuous improvement of data engineering processes.
Requirements
5+ years of hands‑on experience in data engineering, building data lakes or warehouses on cloud platforms.
Proficiency in Python, SQL, and big‑data processing frameworks such as Apache Spark.
Strong experience with AWS services (S3, Redshift, Glue, Lambda, etc.) and workflow orchestration tools like Airflow.
Solid understanding of data modeling, ETL design patterns, and data governance principles.
Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work cross‑functionally in an agile environment.
