Senior Engineer Senior Engineer with at least 6 years' experience required for a large-scale apartment development in Dublin City Centre with a Tier 1 Main Building Contractor. The scheme forms part of a major multi-block residential development, delivering apartments together with retail, office, and amenity space, for a well-established developer. The ideal candidate will be degree qualified in Civil / Construction Engineering and will have strong site experience in multi-storey residential or apartment construction, including managing junior engineering staff, as well as excellent communication and IT skills, and will be energetic and motivated. Excellent career prospects for enthusiastic, driven persons interested in progressing toward site management with a leading Tier 1 Contractor. Duties: Overseeing setting out of foundations, structures, and services, and reviewing the work of junior engineers. Managing and mentoring site engineers and graduate engineers. Supervising subcontractors including steel-fixers, shuttering carpenters, and concrete pours. Surveying, record keeping, and progress reporting. Coordinating with site and purchasing teams to manage materials. Supporting site management in overseeing operatives. Monitoring quality and building control plans. Leading on health and safety inductions, audits, and compliance. Requirements Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management. Minimum 6 years' relevant experience (multi-storey residential/apartment construction preferred). Proven ability to manage and mentor junior site engineers. Strong communication and organisational skills. Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively. IT literacy (surveying and MS Office tools). Motivated and career focused.
