John of God Community Services Dublin South East (Dublin South and North Wicklow) provides residential, respite and community-based supports to children and adults with intellectual disabilities across South Dublin and North Wicklow.
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Senior Occupational Therapist with an interest in working with adults with intellectual disabilities to join our multidisciplinary team.
The successful candidate will deliver high-quality occupational therapy assessment and intervention across community and residential settings, promoting independence, participation, wellbeing and quality of life.
They will also contribute to service development and work collaboratively within an experienced multidisciplinary team.

Essential Requirements The successful candidate must: Hold a recognised qualification in Occupational Therapy.
Be registered, or eligible for registration, with the Occupational Therapists Registration Board at CORU.
Have a minimum of three years' full-time (or equivalent) post-qualification clinical experience.
Have experience working with people with intellectual disabilities.
Demonstrate experience in occupational therapy assessment and intervention, including: Promoting independence in activities of daily living (ADLs) Sensory processing Wellbeing Postural management Have experience working as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Demonstrate excellent communication, interpersonal, organisational and administrative skills.
Be innovative, flexible and resourceful, with a strong commitment to person-centred practice.
Hold a full clean driver's licence (please clearly state this on your application).
Desirable Experience in service development, leadership or supervision of staff and/or students.
Experience contributing to quality improvement initiatives.
Salary Scale: €64,551
