Are you an experienced Social Care professional ready to take the next step into leadership? We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing healthcare provider for a Team Lead position within a dynamic Day Service supporting adults with disabilities. This is an excellent opportunity to combine hands-on support with leadership responsibilities, helping to deliver high-quality, person-centred services that empower individuals to live meaningful and fulfilling lives. The Role As Team Lead, you'll support the Service Manager in the day-to-day operation of the service, providing leadership, supervision, and guidance to a dedicated team while ensuring the highest standards of care and compliance. The role is based from the Cork office, with daily travel to a Day Service in North Cork, where you will take the lead in the day-to-day management and operation of the service. A company vehicle will be provided for travel between the Cork office and the Day Service, enabling you to carry out your leadership responsibilities across the service. What's on Offer? Permanent, full-time position Salary: €41,600 per annum Monday to Friday daytime hours Annual salary increments Contributory pension scheme Death in Service benefit Employee Assistance Programme Career progression and development opportunities Support for further education and training Cycle to Work Scheme Refer-a-Friend bonus Company vehicle provided for business travel between the Cork office and the North Cork Day Service What We're Looking For Degree in Social Care, Applied Social Studies, or equivalent (Level 7 minimum) Minimum 2 years' experience in disability or social care services Previous experience supporting individuals with behaviours that challenge Experience supervising or leading teams within a care setting Strong communication, organisational, and IT skills Full clean driver's licence Eligibility to work in Ireland Key Responsibilities Lead and support a multidisciplinary team within the North Cork Day Service Provide day-to-day operational leadership while working closely with the Service Manager Deliver and promote person-centred supports Provide supervision, guidance, and mentoring to staff Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory standards Support care planning, reviews, and service development Advocate for service users and promote community inclusion Build positive relationships with families and external professionals Travel daily between the Cork office and the North Cork Day Service using the company vehicle provided Ready to take the next step in your Social Care career?
