We are looking for a Senior Project Manager to join the Front Office Technology PMO team, supporting Fixed Income initiatives within a fast-paced trading environment.
This role is solution-driven and execution-focused, working closely with Traders, IT, and Operations to deliver technology enhancements and system upgrades (including Murex) across multiple workstreams.
The position requires strong ownership, anticipation skills, and the ability to manage front-to-back projects without relying on dedicated BA or development teams.
Key Responsibilities
Manage 2–3 concurrent projects in parallel (day-to-day execution).
Drive projects from planning through testing and go-live (including UAT).
Build and maintain 3-month forward timelines and clear delivery roadmaps.
Structure initiatives into two major phases (planning & execution/testing).
Ensure proper governance and adherence to established guidelines.
Front-to-Back Coordination
Coordinate across Front Office (Traders), IT, and Operations teams.
Manage interactions with up to 30 PMs across the organization.
Build strong connections with key stakeholders (including senior leadership).
Act as the bridge between business needs and technical implementation.
Implement and improve tools and processes (continuous improvement mindset).
Challenge existing procedures and improve efficiency.
Support product implementation (non-financial products included).
Governance & Process
Operate in a structured PMO framework.
Ensure clear documentation and proper process alignment.
Follow structured guidelines while remaining pragmatic.
Stakeholder Management
Partner closely with key stakeholders
Provide transparency on planning, risks, and dependencies.
Anticipate roadblocks and proactively manage delivery risks.
Qualifications
Bachelor degree in Computer science, Engineering, Finance or Quantitative finance
8+ years of experience in Project Management within Financial Services.
Strong exposure to Front Office environments (Fixed Income preferred).
Experience working on trading floor technology initiatives.
Experience managing Murex upgrades or similar trading systems.
Proven ability to manage projects without direct BA/developer reporting lines.
Experience in structured PMO environments
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of trading products (Fixed Income strongly preferred).
Experience in front-to-back implementations.
Strong ability to anticipate risks and drive proactive solutions.
