POSITION OVERVIEW This contractor will serve as the primary data analytics and engineering resource for Teton Ridge during a planned maternity leave. The role covers day‑to‑day data pipeline maintenance, executive reporting, and ongoing infrastructure projects across the company.
WHAT YOU'LL DO Executive Reporting
Maintain and distribute weekly/monthly streaming performance dashboards (DAU, MAU, stickiness, logged‑in rate, avg. session time) for biweekly stakeholder meetings
Meet with key stakeholders to define target metrics for their teams and reverse‑engineer solutions using available pipeline data
Support ad‑hoc data requests from leadership as they arise
Data Pipeline Maintenance
Monitor and maintain ETL connectors across marketing and social platforms (Facebook Pages, Instagram Business, YouTube Analytics, Google Ads, Tiktok, and more)
Administer automated data transfer jobs in BigQuery, including scheduling management and backfill resolution and maintenance for if/when they break
Serve as subject‑matter‑expert on data pipeline architecture across cloud data platforms, including data lineage, source systems, and reporting caveats
Partner with revenue operations, social, and marketing teams on performance data audits and dashboard maintenance
Own subscription reporting structures, auditing existing pipelines and developing new ones to support streaming platform analytics
Maintain and enhance custom scripts and queries as business needs evolve (scheduled in GBQ)
Provide cross‑functional project management for technical and data initiatives across teams
Audience & Engagement Reporting
Pull and reconcile web/app analytics data (GA4) with video platform metrics (JW Player) for subscriber and audience analysis
Develop and maintain DAU/MAU reporting methodology, including documenting data limitations and ensuring appropriate caveats in all stakeholder reporting
Field stakeholder questions on viewing patterns across devices and platforms (Roku, CTV, mobile, web) using combined analytics sources
Data Platform Integrations
Coordinate with engineering partners on data sync issues between cloud platforms
Push updated pipeline outputs from BigQuery into downstream data platforms as needed
Troubleshoot and resolve cross‑cloud data transfer issues, ensuring outputs are configured correctly to maintain pipeline reliability
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
5+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, data engineering, or a related field.
Strong proficiency in SQL, including experience writing and optimizing complex queries in large‑scale data environments.
Hands‑on experience with cloud‑based data warehouses, preferably Google BigQuery.
Experience maintaining and troubleshooting ETL/ELT pipelines and automated data workflows.
Working knowledge of digital analytics platforms, including Google Analytics 4 (GA4).
Experience integrating and analyzing data from multiple sources, including advertising, social media, subscription, and web analytics platforms.
Proven ability to develop executive‑level dashboards, reports, and performance metrics.
Experience documenting data definitions, methodologies, and reporting caveats for business stakeholders.
Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Excellent communication skills and ability to translate technical concepts into actionable business insights.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and quickly learn new systems and business processes.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience with Palantir Foundry, Looker Studio, or similar business intelligence and reporting tools.
Experience with data integration platforms such as Fivetran.
Familiarity with subscription‑based businesses, streaming platforms, media, entertainment, or digital content organizations.
Experience working with video analytics platforms such as JW Player.
Familiarity with advertising and marketing platforms including Google Ads, Meta Ads, Google Ad Manager, and social media analytics tools.
Experience working with CRM and revenue operations data, including systems such as Boostr CRM.
Knowledge of REST APIs, data ingestion processes, and cross‑platform data synchronization.
Experience supporting executive stakeholders and responding to ad‑hoc analytical requests in a fast‑paced environment.
LOCATION Remote, Hybrid, or Ft. Worth HQ
CONTRACT TERM Must be available for a contract assignment of approximately 3 months and capable of assuming ownership of existing data pipelines, reporting processes, and stakeholder relationships with minimal ramp‑up time.
