What You Will Do
Assist in building ETL pipelines for AFIMSC data platforms.
Support migration of civil engineering data to cloud environments.
Help ensure data quality and governance compliance.
Document data workflows and integration processes.
Troubleshoot basic data pipeline issues.
Collaborate with data scientists for model deployment.
Assist in optimizing database performance.
Support secure data transfer protocols.
Participate in testing and validation of data flows.
Provide technical support for data-related tasks.
What You Will Need
An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED "SECRET" Federal or DoD security clearance.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
Basic SQL and Python skills.
Understanding of data structures and ETL concepts.
What Would Be Nice To Have
Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
Ability to learn cloud data tools.
Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
Familiarity with relational databases.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Interest in data governance principles.
Problem‑solving mindset.
Willingness to learn new technologies quickly.
Experience with data visualization tools.
Knowledge of API integration.
Understanding of big data frameworks.
Experience with version control systems.
Familiarity with DoD data compliance standards.
Basic scripting skills for automation.
Interest in cybersecurity for data systems.
Experience with agile development.
Knowledge of metadata management tools.
