_*Job Summary *_
The Project Manager brings structure, clarity, and execution momentum to complex client engagements. Working closely with Account Management and Technology leadership, the Project Manager ensures that client commitments are meticulously planned, tracked, and delivered with absolute consistency and transparency.
This is a high-visibility, client-facing role assigned to accounts where the scale, complexity, or pace of work requires dedicated cross-functional coordination. The Project Manager bridges the gap between client business objectives and technical delivery execution, translating delivery realities into clear, actionable plans and keeping all parties aligned on progress, risks, and milestones.
_*Key Responsibilities *_
*Project Planning & Milestone Ownership *
* End-to-End Planning: Build and continuously maintain comprehensive project plans, cross-team timelines, and milestone trackers for complex client engagements.
* Dependency Mapping: Coordinate cross-team dependencies at the engagement level, partnering with technical Pod Leads to ensure client-facing timelines accurately reflect multi-pod capacity and realities.
* Release Orchestration: Manage project sequencing across client, delivery, and internal stakeholders to track critical paths and orchestrate seamless go-live readiness and release coordination.
*Day-to-Day Execution & Coordination *
* Momentum & Follow-Through: Drive daily accountability on action items, open decisions, and cross-functional deliverables, proactively resolving operational gaps before they become delivery risks.
* Iteration Alignment: Attend pod iteration planning sessions to inject vital client priority context and highlight upcoming timeline dependencies (Note: Pod Leads retain ownership of technical sequencing and sprint commitments).
*Risk, Issue & Escalation Management *
* Proactive Mitigation: Identify, log, and escalate project blockers early, with a clear articulation of downstream impacts and recommended trade-offs.
* Escalation Ownership: Drive the resolution process for delivery risks—synthesizing technical inputs from the Pod Lead and client-side constraints from the Account Manager—to establish clear accountability and resolution paths.
* Scope Protection: Actively monitor project boundaries, immediately flagging potential scope creep or commercial risks to the Account Manager.
*Client Communication & Transparent Reporting *
* Single Source of Truth: Own all project-level, client-facing delivery communications, including status updates, project health dashboards, and milestone reports, serving as the foundational intelligence the AM uses to shape the broader relationship narrative.
* Jargon-Free Clarity: Translate complex technical status updates into clear, concise, and business-friendly communications that clients and executive stakeholders can easily digest and act upon.
* Meeting Facilitation: Participate in client execution meetings, capturing key decisions, and driving strict internal tracking of all action items and follow-ups.
*Requirements & Backlog Quality*
* Story Accountability: Own the final documented output, completion, and refinement of user stories and acceptance criteria—collaborating with the AM to validate business intent and the Pod Lead to confirm technical feasibility.
* Backlog Grooming: Support backlog grooming and prioritization alongside the Pod Lead, ensuring Jira tickets are well-defined, actionable, and ready for development cycles.
*Commercial & Scope Awareness *
* Contract Alignment: Maintain deep visibility into contracted scope versus what is being delivered, ensuring all delivery activities strictly align with agreed-upon roadmaps and commercial commitments.
* Expansion Signals: Identify and feed client expansion signals, technical whitespace, or upsell opportunities directly to the Account Manager.
_*Required Qualifications *_
* Experience: 4+ years of dedicated Project Management experience handling complex software delivery within a SaaS, FinTech, or WealthTech environment.
* Delivery Competency: At least 3 years of hands-on experience embedded within software product development lifecycles, with a strong grasp of agile methodologies.
* Tooling Mastery: Advanced, proficient experience managing complex multi-team delivery via Jira and Jira Advanced Roadmaps (or equivalent enterprise portfolio management tools).
* Domain Literacy: A solid understanding of the financial sector, including the workflows, perspectives, and data needs of wealth management professionals and institutional investors.
* Communication & Detail: Exceptional presentation skills and an ability to translate highly technical data into business-friendly narratives, backed by immaculate organization and attention to detail.
_*Preferred Qualifications *_
* Experience managing client-facing implementations involving large-scale financial institution dependencies or market data integrations.
* PMP, Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), or equivalent agile project management certifications.

* Salary Range: $85k - $125k annualized
