Due to continued growth within our White Collar Division, we are seeking an ambitious and driven Recruitment Consultant to join our team.
This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of our Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) recruitment desk while also supporting the growth of our international white-collar recruitment operations across Germany and the Nordic region.
The Role As a Recruitment Consultant, you will be responsible for developing and managing relationships with clients and candidates within the M&E sector, while identifying and attracting construction and engineering professionals for projects throughout Ireland, Germany, Sweden, Norway, Finland, and Denmark.
This is a full 360 recruitment role, offering significant autonomy, career progression, and exposure to major construction and infrastructure projects across Europe.
Key Responsibilities Manage and grow the M&E recruitment desk across Ireland and Europe.
Source, screen, and interview high-calibre candidates for technical and management positions.
Develop relationships with existing and prospective clients within the construction and engineering sectors.
Generate new business opportunities and convert them into long-term partnerships.
Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from vacancy briefing through to placement and aftercare.
Build and maintain talent pipelines across Mechanical, Electrical, BIM, Commissioning, and Building Services disciplines.
Support overseas recruitment campaigns targeting white-collar professionals for Germany and the Nordic markets.
Advertise vacancies, conduct candidate searches, and utilise social media and networking platforms to attract talent.
Negotiate offers and provide market insights to both clients and candidates.
Maintain accurate records within the company CRM and ATS systems.
Represent Ward Personnel professionally within the construction industry.
Candidate Profile We are interested in speaking with recruiters who are ambitious, commercially driven, and passionate about building relationships.
Essential Previous recruitment experience, ideally within construction, engineering, technical, or professional services recruitment.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
Ability to manage multiple vacancies and priorities simultaneously.
Commercially minded with a proven ability to develop business opportunities.
Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Full working rights in Ireland.
Desirable Experience recruiting within Mechanical & Electrical or Building Services disciplines.
Experience managing international recruitment campaigns.
Knowledge of the German or Nordic construction markets.
Additional European language skills would be advantageous but are not essential.
