Job Details Job Type: Regular Work | Location: Best Buy 1790 - Jacksonville, FL 32246 | Pay: $16.00 per hour | Schedule: Up to 15 hours per week (Saturday and Sunday preferred; flexible Friday options may be available). Overview Become a Part-Time HP Retail Sales Associate. In this role, you will assist in driving sales and creating buzz and excitement around the HP brand and products in the local big‑box retailer. You will demonstrate products to customers and tailor demonstrations to their ideal needs. As part of the day‑in‑the‑life, you will demonstrate HP products at BestBuy, engage and build rapport with customers, maintain professional relationships with management and staff within the assigned store, train retail store associates on HP products and services, maintain displays for cleanliness, functionality, and demo-readiness, and report and provide competitive insights. Responsibilities Sell products and services in a retail store, kiosk, and/or event environments. Maintain professional interaction with customers and fellow employees. Meet or exceed personal sales goals on a monthly basis. Welcome customers courteously and offer assistance. Direct customers to displays, assess needs and suggest products that fit those needs. Advise customers by providing information on products and services. Help customers make selections by building customer confidence. Accurately document and report sales. Maintain the workstation/kiosk clean, well‑organized, functional and presentable at all times. Submit all paperwork completely and accurately. Accurately track and communicate all activity to Retail Operations. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Six (6) months prior sales, retail, telecom or marketing experience. Demonstrated knowledge of products and services. Excellent communications, presentation, interpersonal and problem‑solving skills. Impeccable integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction. Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced, team environment. Available to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed. Ability to maintain customer confidentiality. 1‑year job experience required. Problem‑solving, tech‑savvy enthusiasm. Outgoing personality and eagerness to learn. Comfortable engaging with customers and demonstrating products with training. Ability to engage in a selling process that overcomes objections and connects with customer needs. Retail experience or customer service experience in electronics, tech or wireless (a plus).
