Job Overview CTI, a Parsons Company, delivers cutting‑edge technology solutions that empower end‑users to SEE (Sense, Evaluate, Effect) the invisible battlespace. We are seeking a Network Engineer to design, implement, maintain, and support a growing network infrastructure in Hawaii.
Responsibilities
Participate in customer planning sessions to define networking requirements
Design and implement IPv4 network architectures, including subnetting and address allocation
Configure and maintain network devices (routers, switches, firewalls) using industry‑standard protocols
Install, configure, and troubleshoot network services and applications on Linux‑based systems
Assist in designing and implementing approved networking and transport solutions aligned with long‑term IS goals
Install and configure network equipment; provide support to systems administrators
Monitor systems to improve network performance and lead troubleshooting efforts across local and external sites
Apply DoD Information Assurance (IA) policies to the design and maintenance of communications solutions
Manage and maintain a library of network engineering tools for system testing and diagnostics
Apply advanced engineering principles to develop and maintain network standards, procedures, and guidelines
Maintain current knowledge of networking security best practices and implement them across systems
Produce documentation for installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and operator usage
Contribute technical content and tutorials to product documentation
Support Agile workflows (Jira, Confluence, GitLab)
Provide onsite support in a classified environment (remote work limited to short‑duration NIPR with sponsor approval)
Required Clearance
Must be a US Citizen
Must have an ACTIVE TS/SCI clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a CI Poly
Required Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, IT, Computer Science, Network Engineering, or related field and 10+ years of related experience (additional years experience will be considered in lieu of a degree)
Experience developing, implementing, and maintaining network architectures, including IPv4 addressing and subnetting
Experience configuring, operating, and troubleshooting complex systems and network equipment (TACLANEs, firewalls, routers, switches)
Proficiency in administering and troubleshooting Linux‑based systems in a networked environment
Demonstrated ability to design and implement subnetting strategies to optimize network performance and security
IAT Level I certification (Security+ and relevant OS/CE certification)
Valid U.S. passport required for all official travel outside the continental United States (OCONUS)
Desired Skills
Experience supporting cloud‑connected or remote‑site communications architectures
Familiarity with Agile engineering environments (Jira, Confluence, GitLab)
Ability to dynamically prioritize tasks in fast‑paced operational settings
Strong interpersonal skills and customer‑facing communication abilities
Experience maintaining engineering toolkits for diagnostics and testing

Salary Salary Range: $125,100.00 - $225,200.00
