We are looking for an experienced
Data Engineer
to join our Data Platform Engineering team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to design, build, and optimize modern cloud-based data platforms using Azure technologies and Databricks.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and deploy scalable data engineering solutions using Azure Databricks, PySpark, Python, SQL, Azure Synapse, and Azure Data Factory.
Build and maintain high-performance data pipelines for large-scale data processing and analytics.
Develop and optimize Lakehouse architectures, Delta Lake solutions, and metadata-driven ETL frameworks.
Create and maintain data transformation models using dbt and Azure Data Factory.
Optimize SQL queries, PySpark workloads, and data models for performance and cost efficiency.
Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and self-healing mechanisms for production data platforms.
Collaborate with Data Architects, Analysts, Product Owners, and business stakeholders to deliver data-driven solutions.
Ensure data quality, governance, security, and operational excellence across the data ecosystem.
Manage CI/CD deployments using Azure DevOps, GitHub, and source control best practices.
Required Skills
8+ years of SQL/T-SQL and Data Warehouse Development experience.
5+ years of hands‑on experience with Python, PySpark, SparkSQL, and Azure Databricks.
Strong experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, ADLS Gen2, and Delta Lake.
Expertise in performance tuning, production support, and large‑scale data processing.
Experience building reusable, metadata‑driven data pipelines.
Strong understanding of Lakehouse Architecture and modern data engineering best practices.
