- Kare Clinical Teams Panel Fixed Term Contracts 35 hours per week Location: Co.
Kildare Therapy Assistant Salary Scale: Point 1 €32,891 (pro-rated) The Assistants will support the Clinical Support Team in adult services to deliver a high-quality service to people using Kares clinical services.
Responsibilities: Follow plans as determined and delegated by the Clinical team, including assisting in the provision of education and advice on the use of enabling equipment.
Collaborate with the individual, their family, carers and other staff in the provision of support and advice Carry out duties related to the planning, organisation and maintenance of Therapy programmes Maintain accurate records of service user assessments and interventions & maintain clinical notes relating to clinical work in service user files in accordance with local service protocols.
Maintain professional standards in relation to consent, confidentiality, ethics and legislation.
Carry out the administrative and clerical duties required to support the Clinical Support Team.
Requirements: Minimum FETAC Level 5 qualification in Occupational Therapy / Physiotherapy / Speech & Language Therapy / Social Care / relevant area Minimum 2 years experience working in a social care/intellectual disability setting A good understanding of the role of the Occupational Therapist/Physiotherapist/Speech & Language Therapist Competent computer and administrative skills Own transport and a Full, Clean Drivers Licence Be eligible to work in Ireland without sponsorship Benefits include: 25 days annual leave Federation of Voluntary Bodies Pension Scheme: Employer 7% & Employee 5% contributions Rewarding work with flexible hours Employee Assistance Programme and local Employee Discounts Personal Development, Professional Growth and Career Progression Applications close on 14th July 2026.
