How You'll Help Transform Healthcare The imaging technician student is involved in a variety of technical procedures to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for and/or performing ultrasound examinations for diagnosis of patients.
Travel to other Velocity Care locations Applies knowledge of growth and development to appropriately care for all patients served. Under direct supervision of a registered technologist, operates highly specialized, technical equipment to obtain quality radiographs. Performs duties associated with processing patients, which may include scheduling, registration, file management and computer processing skills. Evaluates and positions patients with a high degree of professional ethics, care, courtesy, patience and safety.
What We Require Education: High school graduate or equivalent education required. Current student in 3rd or 4th quarter of an approved school of Radiologic Technology. Experience: Letter of support from Program Director. Other Minimum Qualifications: Good interpersonal, technical skills and flexibility in assignments.
