What You'll DoAs an Ophthalmic Scribe, you'll play an important role in supporting physicians and ensuring patients have a smooth, positive experience during their visit.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Prepare exam rooms and patients for eye examinations
- Perform preliminary eye testing and patient intake
- Accurately document patient information and physician findings during exams
- Assist physicians with patient procedures and clinical support tasks
- Coordinate patient flow to help maintain efficient clinic operations
- Help create a welcoming, organized, and patient-centered environment
- Communicate professionally and compassionately with patients and team members
Positive attitude and willingness to learn Passion for helping others and delivering excellent patient care Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical environment Excellent communication and teamwork skills Interest in healthcare, medicine, or ophthalmology preferred
