Test Execution & Quality Validation: Execute manual and automated test scripts to validate functionality, reliability, performance, and system behavior. Monitor application behavior against requirements and ensure deliverables meet quality benchmarks.
Defect Identification & Resolution: Identify, log, track, and manage defects throughout the software lifecycle. Perform root cause analysis and collaborate with developers for efficient defect resolution.
Process Improvement & Quality Standards: Recommend and implement corrective and preventive QA measures. Develop, maintain, and enhance QA policies, standards, and procedures. Continuously improve QA methodologies, tools, and workflows.
Automation & Testing Tools: Design and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks. Evaluate and increase automation coverage where applicable. Utilize QA tools for efficient test execution.
Data Analysis & Reporting: Compile and analyze test results and statistical data. Provide reports on test progress, defect trends, and quality metrics. Leverage insights to improve product quality and testing efficiency.
User Acceptance & Compliance: Ensure solutions meet end-user expectations and business needs. Investigate and address customer complaints and reported issues. Ensure compliance with quality standards and industry/regulatory requirements.
Collaboration & Agile Delivery: Actively participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives). Work closely with developers, business analysts, and product owners.
Troubleshooting & Production Support: Diagnose and resolve application issues. Assist in troubleshooting defects in both test and production environments.
Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related technical field. At least 10 years of experience in quality testing, auditing, and software validation. Proficient in Agile methodology, test planning/execution, defect tracking, QA tools, and automation scripting (JavaScript, JSON). Experience with databases (IBM DB2 UDB), data validation, and stakeholder communication. Strong communication and software troubleshooting skills. Other Requirements Must be a local Colorado resident and available for a hybrid work schedule in Denver, CO (in-person interview required). Work schedule is 8 hours/day (MST).
