Job Summary Medline has an immediate opening for a Business Intelligence Analyst! This position will be located at our headquarters in Northfield, IL on a hybrid basis. Under general supervision, work closely with a variety of stakeholders to develop and maintain departmental business intelligence, reporting, and analytics solutions. The role drives business decisions by providing quantitative and qualitative data analysis and reporting of patterns, insights, and trends to decision‑makers. It involves developing, monitoring, and reporting department KPIs and metrics, translating business requirements into the appropriate analytics solution. Job Responsibilities Develop actionable reports and dashboards that highlight KPIs, identify improvement areas, and provide root‑cause analysis. Create, review, and optimize dashboards to ensure accuracy and meaningful data visualization. Conduct data analysis to interpret results, identify trends, and assess operational impact and opportunities. Develop and performance‑tune moderately complex SQL queries and procedures. Partner with business stakeholders to define analytics requirements for Sales and Marketing initiatives. Participate as a core member of an analytics team, contributing to planning, design, development, and testing of queries, reports, and dashboards. Deliver reporting solutions and respond to adhoc reporting needs across business areas. Minimum Job Requirements Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Math, Engineering or a related field. At least 2 years of dashboard development experience (Tableau, PowerBI, or similar tools). At least 2 years of experience leveraging SQL for data analysis and performance tuning. At least 2 years of data modeling experience. At least 2 years of experience analyzing and reporting data to identify trends, issues and opportunities. Advanced Excel skills. Proficiency in Access. Proficiency in database design and maintenance (STAR Schema, key fields, stored procedures, etc.). Preferred Job Qualifications Experience working with Microsoft Fabric, Microsoft Power Platform, Data Warehouses, Python, or R. Proficiency with AI tooling or other automation solutions. Compensation & Benefits The anticipated salary range for this position is $85,000.00 – $128,000.00 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicable factors. This role is bonus and/or incentive eligible. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold. Benefits include health insurance, life and disability, 401(k) contributions, paid time off, Employee Assistance Program, Employee Resource Groups and the Employee Service Corp. Employees working 30 or more hours per week receive the full benefits package. For roles with less than 30 hours per week, benefits include 401(k) contributions, paid time off and access to the aforementioned programs.
