This Key Personnel role will support enterprise environments leveraging MS Windows Server 2019/2022, MS SQL 2019, Windows 11, VMware 7.x, Oracle Linux (OEL 8.x-9.x), and Oracle operating systems. The selected candidate must demonstrate deep expertise in designing, implementing, securing, and maintaining advanced network architectures across geographically distributed customer environments.
The Senior Network Administrator will collaborate closely with existing team members to lead strategies for managing, maintaining, deploying, troubleshooting, and supporting multiple enterprise networks. Responsibilities include architecting new network implementations, guiding modernization efforts, and ensuring secure, stable, and high‑performance network operations.
Additional duties include creating and maintaining technical documentation, operating procedures, and policies; monitoring and tuning network performance; hardening network infrastructure; and reporting on overall operational and security posture. This role also supports enterprise improvements, new hardware/software integrations, utilization reporting, and identification of issues requiring corrective action.
The candidate will assist with lifecycle management of diverse vendor equipment, including firmware version control, preventive maintenance, and modernization planning. Strong communication skills, teamwork, and the ability to recommend, demonstrate, and implement technologies that expand, upgrade, and improve the current environment are essential.

Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred
Equivalent years of experience may be considered
Certifications
CompTIA Security+ (required)
Computing Environment (CE) Certification such as MCSE, Server+, CCNA, Red Hat, Palo Alto, or equivalent (May be waived for up to 30 days after project join date)
Responsibilities
Design, implement, maintain, and troubleshoot complex enterprise network architectures across multiple customer environments.
Configure, update, maintain, administer, and migrate Palo Alto Firewalls, including security policies, NAT, VPN, and threat prevention.
Configure, update, maintain, and administer Cisco Nexus (9K/7K/5K/2K), Cisco Catalyst switches, Cisco ASR/ISR routers, and Cisco Firepower platforms.
Utilize network management and analysis tools such as SolarWinds, Cisco Prime, Palo Alto Panorama, Men & Mice, and related platforms.
Plan, execute, and implement new network hardware/software solutions and modernization initiatives.
Create and maintain technical instructions, SOPs, operating procedures, disaster recovery documentation, and policies for repeatable processes.
Monitor, tune, and report on network performance, operational status, and security posture.
Harden network infrastructure and support cybersecurity compliance activities including patch management, STIG/SRG alignment, RMF, SCA‑V, and CORA.
Support software‑defined networking (SDN) environments and emerging network virtualization technologies.
Provide utilization reports using existing tools to identify issues, recommend corrective actions, and improve network efficiency.
Support lifecycle management of vendor equipment including firmware version control, preventive maintenance, and modernization planning.
Recommend, demonstrate, and implement technologies that expand, upgrade, and improve the current network environment.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and demonstrate strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills.
Required Qualifications
Three or more years designing, implementing, documenting, and maintaining complex networking solutions.
Three or more years of experience configuring, updating, maintaining, administering, and migrating Palo Alto Firewalls.
Three or more years using network management/analysis tools such as SolarWinds, Cisco Prime, Palo Alto Panorama, Men & Mice.
Five or more years configuring, updating, maintaining, and administering Cisco Nexus (9K, 7K, 5K, 2K), Cisco Catalyst switches, Cisco ASR/ISR routers, and Cisco Firepower.
Three years of experience or working knowledge of Software‑Defined Networking (SDN).
Three or more years creating, maintaining, and following Standard Operating Procedures for repeatable processes, disaster recovery, and common problem resolution.
Strong interpersonal skills and willingness to be a team player.
Desired Qualifications
Three or more years automation/scripting experience with Python, Perl, TCL, or Ansible.
Three or more years supporting cybersecurity patch management, STIG/SRG, RMF, SCA‑V, and Cyber Operational Readiness Assessments (CORA).
