Our client is seeking an experienced Quality Manager to lead its Quality Department and drive operational excellence across the business. This role offers the opportunity to make a lasting impact by developing robust quality systems, improving manufacturing performance, and partnering cross-functionally to deliver world-class products.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead, mentor, and develop the Quality team while overseeing daily department operations
- Build and maintain quality policies, procedures, SOPs, and document control systems
- Partner with Engineering, Manufacturing, Purchasing, and Customer Service to improve product quality and manufacturing processes
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including UL standards and Department of Energy (DOE) reporting
- Oversee incoming, in-process, and final inspections while maintaining calibration and measurement systems
- Lead root cause investigations utilizing methodologies such as 5-Why, Fishbone, and 8D
- Drive Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement initiatives that reduce defects and improve efficiency
- Develop and track key quality metrics, including scrap, rework, warranty, supplier performance, and Cost of Quality
- Manage supplier quality initiatives, customer complaints, corrective actions, and quality reporting for executive leadership
- Education: Bachelors degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business, or related field, required
- Experience: 10+ years of manufacturing quality experience, including leadership responsibilities, required, ISO 9001 quality systems, preferred
- Knowledge: Electrical manufacturing, power distribution equipment, or transformer manufacturing, highly desirable
- Software: ERP, QMS, & Microsoft Office Suite, required

Pay: $80,000 $90,000/year
Type: Full-time, 1st Shift, On-site
Schedule: Monday Friday 7:00 a.m. 4:00 p.m.
