Service Lane Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct daily one-on-one client status meetings with each ASM to identify potential service issues
  • Monitor automotive repair and maintenance to prevent operational delays
  • Work with the service director to set departmental objectives
  • Recruit, interview, and train service staff
  • Staff technical teams relative to production requirements
  • Maintain daily sales and production records as prescribed by management
  • Review and evaluate service sales performance
  • Remain current on new products and changes to existing products
  • Maintain department finances within parameters established by management
  • Assure proper repair-order flow to maximize productivity
  • Monitor all warranty activity to ensure compliance with policies and procedures
  • Conduct performance evaluations
  • Conduct weekly department meetings and attend weekly manager meetings

Qualifications:

  • High School graduation or equivalent
  • Two years of experience in an auto repair facility, dealership experience preferred
  • One year of supervisory experience
  • Excellent leadership skills
  • Ability to effectively manage time and to meet and exceed targets
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Outgoing, and positive attitude
  • Ability to collaborate with other dealership personnel
  • Possession of a valid, unrestricted driver's license for more than 3 years
  • Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles

The successful candidate will be required to successfully complete a background check, drug screen, and driving records check. In accordance with RCW 49.44.240 this position is identified as Safety Sensitive and is subject to pre-employment drug screening including cannabis.
