Focus on general backend tech stacks with less emphasis on streaming data pipelines
Seniority: 3+ years of experience developing backend software Owned production-facing backend services end-to-end
Experience at high-growth or successful startups
Built APIs, data pipelines, or distributed systems
Experience with one of:
Experience building and integrating with external APIs
Relational DB backends (Django or similar)
Experience building ETL and data pipelines
Experience with building distributed systems and backends
Experience with AWS, terraform, EKS, and cloud systems
High-trajectory individual contributor with strong growth mindset. Thrives in fast-paced, ambiguous environments independently
Requirements
Candidate Requirements
3+ years of experience in backend software development
Experience with any backend technology; startup experience preferred but not required
Company Context Startup environment with a focus on flexibility and early-career talent
Recently hired a tech lead for data infrastructure, shifting focus to general backend roles
Compensation and Logistics Hiring for 1-2 positions
