Overview Business and Data Analysts work closely with data engineers, data scientists, and business teams to design analytics solutions, implement advanced algorithms, and evaluate the performance of use cases. Ideal candidates are self‑motivated, inquisitive, and creative, with a strong desire to solve real‑world problems using data. In this role, you will deliver analytics quickly in a time‑constrained environment, owning multiple reporting tools and presenting status and insights to management to incorporate feedback. You will partner across Sales, Brand, and Finance teams to align data across sales, incentives, and vehicle payments, and support successful adoption through knowledge transfer and change management.
The Business and Data Analyst must be able to:
Transform a vision into an operational project and see it through to completion in an uncertain environment
Define and drive toward success criteria
Utilize strong analytical and problem‑solving skills to develop creative solutions to complex problems
Lead cross‑functional teams in agile project management development cycles
Balance competing priorities in a constantly evolving environment
Work with internal and external stakeholders as well as vendors
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science, or Operations Research)
Minimum of 5 years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, or data analysis roles
Strong technical skills with SQL for data analysis
Excellent quantitative and qualitative skills and the ability to evaluate processes and data objectively
Strong problem formulation, problem‑solving, and analysis skills
Success in implementing projects and driving change management
Ability to collaborate with external data partners, agencies, and vendors
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience analyzing incentives and vehicle payments data, highly preferred
Experience in brand management, production sales or media‑focused environment is desired
3+ years of automotive experience
Comfortable working in a cloud environment
Experience with visualization tools such as Qlik, Power BI, or Tableau
