Job Summary Enterprise Technology/Telecom is seeking a Senior Data Analyst who can identify and solve complex problems, integrate requirements, recognize patterns, and conceptualize opportunities. The role requires a robust background in accounting/finance and automation/programming/modeling to address operational and financial risk.
Responsibilities
Strong problem‑solving skills; identify patterns or trends by focusing on relevant data and recognizing effective analysis methods.
Perform descriptive, diagnostic, and predictive analyses.
Identify improvement opportunities (proactive and reactive) by recognizing trends.
Contribute to the definition, monitoring, and communication of success metrics by service area.
Continuously monitor metrics across all service areas for deviations.
Support automation initiatives that improve financial processes and operational efficiency.
Effectively and concisely communicate problems, issues, risks, and solutions to stakeholders and leadership.
Develop models and ad‑hoc reports, sharing observations and recommendations with senior management, executives, and stakeholders.
Basic Qualifications
Prior telecom experience.
5+ years of experience as an analyst with 2+ years of demonstrated experience in finance or business processes and automation.
Strong written and speaking skills to convey data and analysis; able to extract and explain the "story" from the data.
Background in automating and integrating with financial systems.
Preferred Qualifications
Advanced experience with Excel (complex functions).
Familiarity with ServiceNow, SAP, Tableau, SQL, R, Power BI, Coupa, Python, AI modeling, and related use cases.
Experience collaborating with a range of partners and understanding multiple perspectives.
Demonstrated leadership qualities.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
Required Education
Bachelor's degree from a four‑year college or equivalent work experience.
Preferred Education
Graduate degree in statistics, mathematics, computer science, or a related field (MBA, MSA, etc.).
Professional certification (e.g., CDP‑DM, data analytics boot camp, finance transformation certifications).
Compensation The hiring range for this position in Orlando, FL is $101,800 to $136,500 per year. The actual base pay offered will consider internal equity and may vary based on geography, job‑related knowledge, skills, experience, and other factors. A bonus and/or long‑term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to medical, financial, and other benefits, depending on level and position offered.
