Job Details Job Location: Boca Raton, FL 33487 Salary Range: $108,000.00 - $110,000.00 Job Title: Systems Admin Company: iPower Technologies is a growing IT Managed Services provider offering computer and network support to its nationwide base of clients. We have an immediate open position that will provide high level support to our client base. This person knows the importance of white glove service and strives to provide support and a sympathetic ear when things are going wrong for the client. Exemplary work ethic combined with consistent performance, reliability and attendance are top priorities. They seamlessly transition from desktop support to server and network issues, depending on the moment and demands of the day. Responsibilities Design, build, migrate, and maintain business networks and systems, including hardware, software, and cloud platforms. Manage Windows Servers 2008, 2012, and 2016 along with Active Directory, DNS, and related services. Build and maintain virtual infrastructure using VMware vSphere, Windows Hyper‑V, and other platforms such as Proxmox. Ensure secure and redundant infrastructures. Deploy and manage Office365. Implement cloud networking for Azure and Azure AD/Entra. Work with security technologies such as Azure conditional access, MFA, and other tools. Manage ongoing cloud infrastructure tasks such as resource provisioning, cost optimization, performance monitoring, and security configuration. Implement and manage security solutions for cloud environments, including threat monitoring, vulnerability assessments, and incident response. Configure and manage Microsoft Server with PowerShell expertise. Diagnose and resolve unique, non‑recurring problems associated with application software and operating systems; determine the source of problems and classify their level, priority and nature. Maintain inventory of installed software, manage software licensing, and create policies and procedures for upgrades. Document procedures, standards, best practices, configurations, settings, installation sequences, and back‑out instructions. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; equivalent professional experience is acceptable. 6–7 years of hands‑on experience in Windows Server administration. MSP experience preferred. Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure. Microsoft and Azure Cloud certifications preferred. Proficiency with network monitoring tools like PRTG. Strong knowledge of advanced protocols, including RADIUS, PKI, IKE, 802.1Q, and SSL, applied to both traditional and cloud‑based networks. Excellent ability to translate technical concepts into clear, actionable insights for non‑technical stakeholders. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate well at all levels of the organization. Strong problem‑solving and creative skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses. High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results orientation. Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
