GDIT is looking for a
Strategic Information Technology (IT) Analyst and Task Manager
to support strategic and operational analysis of the information technology (IT) and cyber environment, and provide customer Task Management services for the USCENTCOM Information Technology Services (CITS) Program supporting the U.S. Central Command (USCENTCOM) Command, Control, Communications, and Computer Systems (CCJ6) Directorate, USCENTCOM HQ in Tampa, FL.
Duties and Responsibilities As a
Strategic IT Analyst
for the CITS Program, you will be responsible for providing strategic analysis services to support the transformation, optimization, and governance of the IT enterprise. Your responsibilities include providing subject matter expertise and recommendations supporting the development of IT Enterprise strategies, policies, plans and frameworks. You will also analyze strategic and operational documents to capture key elements into Command and CCJ6 IT enterprise governance products, assess strategic alignment with digital enterprise governance and transformation initiatives, and support IT investments processes to maximize value and return on investment.
As a
Task Manager , you will provide direct support to the management and oversight of over 1,000 USCENTCOM and Joint Staff directed tasks assigned annually to the CCJ6 Directorate and the Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) through the Enterprise Task Management System 2 (ETSM2). Actions include the initial analysis, assignment, and management of newly assigned tasks and completing the closeout actions of assigned tasks pursuant to Command and CCJ6 Business Rules. You will also provide administrator support through the creation and management of Directorate User and Team accounts, and deliver daily updates to senior leaders on all Command Group and Joint Staff tasks assigned to CCJ6.
Additional Responsibilities
Support the development and staffing of briefings, information papers, talking points, and other artifacts
Support Key Leader Engagement activities
Participate in cross-functional meetings and workgroups
Maintain key customer relationships in support of strategic and operational activities
Provide input and/or submit daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly reports
What YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED Education and Certifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Management, Information Resource Management, or a related field of study and at least 3 years of experience
Desired
Master’s Degree in Management, Information Resource Management, or a related field of study and 8 years of experience
ITIL Foundation Certification
Required Skills
Possess strong critical thinking skills
Understanding of general military structure and staff organization
Work independently or in a small group to analyze requirements, prepare courses of action, and provide recommendations
Ability to analyze tasks for specified requirements, suspense dates, and assign to appropriate staff elements as a lead and/or supporting role
Ability to work closely with stakeholders to understand strategic and operational requirements
Desired Skills
Experience with Combatant Command structure and mission set, with USCENTCOM structure and mission set preferred
Knowledge and familiarity with USCENTCOM’s IT environment
Clearance Requirement
Active TS/SCI
Salary and Compensation The likely salary range for this position is $93,500 - $126,500.
