AT&T has an opening for a NOC Technical Lead to support customers’ computer data communications systems through design, testing, inspections, upgrades, and hardware/software solution modeling. Job Duties & Responsibilities This position requires office presence a minimum of 5 days per week and is only located in the posted location. No relocation is offered. Supervise network support and client server specialists in planning, coordinating, and implementing network operations, maintenance, repair, or upgrades. Train, staff, and employ a team of network support specialists to provide advanced incident response support to the NOC and Tier 3 network engineers in resolving incident tickets. Support operations, maintain activities, and administer networks, including hardware, systems software, application software, and all configurations. Develop and implement methodologies for analysis, testing, monitoring, and support of LAN and WAN networks. Support the evaluation and implementation of new network technologies to ensure the NOC can provide robust and proactive network health monitoring. Analyze incident trends, escalate incidents to problems, and develop solutions to resolve network issues. Perform configuration management functions such as updating topology drawings and ensuring asset management records are accurate and inventory-maintained. Provide Layer 1 and Layer 2 network experience; configure and troubleshoot layer 2 switching (VLANs). Knowledge of Cisco IOS, Juniper JUNOS, Brocade, and Foundry OS. Familiar with Layer 3 protocols such as OSPF, BGP, VRRP, HSRP, MPLS, LSP, and GRE. Familiar with Viso and ServiceNow. Required Clearance TS/SCI with polygraph. Qualifications Candidate must have 10 years of experience that can be a combination of work history and education. This equates to: Doctorate and 3 years Master’s and 4 years Bachelor’s and 6 years Associate’s and 8 years High school diploma and 10 years Compliance with Department of Defense (DoD) 8140 Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level 2. Salary and Benefits Annual salary range: $108,000 – $194,788.
