Electrical Operations Manager

The Electrical Operations Manager will be in charge of organization, planning, leadership, and development of Commercial Electrical construction projects. Key responsibilities of the Electrical Operations manager will be maintaining customer service, expanding business potential, and leading sustainable growth.

Job Description:

  • Manage electrical operations teams to ensure efficiency and customer satisfaction
  • Develops objectives and goals for future growth for field teams
  • Collaborate with Management team to ensure efficient job start up, scheduling, close out, and debriefs
  • Work with Project Management team to review status of projects, analyze progress, and review financials
  • Evaluate electrical departments and look for ways to increase efficiency
  • Manage service standards within existing customer base to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Streamline or develop new internal procedures and policies
  • Prepare status and management reports for upper management
  • Oversee new customer documentation and onboarding
  • Responsible for customer account questions and renewals
  • Contract Management
  • Management of construction related issues to ensure efficiency
  • Ensure proper delivery of services and customer satisfaction
  • Lead weekly/monthly meetings with team leads to plan manpower and assist with any other issues
  • Work with Operations and Estimation team to ensure proper scheduling/manpower utilization
  • Track and identify staff safety certifications and create training sessions when/if needed

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or 5+ years' relevant operations management experience required
  • Effective management/team building skills
  • Experience with Commercial Electrical construction projects required
  • Strong Customer Service skills
  • Problem Solving/conflict management experience
  • Ability to multitask and manage several different issues simultaneously
  • Business development skills a plus
  • Strong Planning/Organizing capabilities
