*Responsibilities*
* Develop and maintain comprehensive ontologies, taxonomies, controlled vocabularies, and metadata schemas to support effective information classification and retrieval.
* Design and implement semantic web technologies such as RDF (Resource Description Framework), OWL (Web Ontology Language), and linked data principles to enable intelligent data integration.
* Manage content development, editing, and content management systems including Drupal, Adobe Experience Manager, SharePoint, and other digital asset management platforms.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and develop scalable data models for relational databases like Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, or MySQL.
* Utilize data analysis tools such as Tableau, Google Analytics 360, and SEO tools to monitor content performance and inform continuous improvement strategies.
* Implement data collection processes using APIs, scripting languages like Python or JavaScript, XML/JSON formats, and web analytics tools to enhance data accuracy and usability.
* Conduct user research and usability testing to refine information architecture, UI/UX design, wireframes (using Figma or Balsamiq), and site navigation for optimal user experience.
* Ensure compliance with information governance policies by establishing records management protocols and maintaining metadata standards across databases including Neo4j graph databases or SQL-based systems.
* Support knowledge sharing initiatives through training sessions on topics such as SPARQL querying, graph databases like Neo4j or GraphQL APIs, and content cataloging practices.
*Skills*
* Strong understanding of ontology development, semantic web technologies (RDF, OWL), linked data principles, and SPARQL querying techniques.
* Expertise in database management systems including relational databases (SQL Server, MySQL), graph databases (Neo4j), and NoSQL solutions.
* Proficiency in content management systems such as Drupal, Adobe Experience Manager, SharePoint; familiarity with digital asset management workflows.
* Experience with data modeling techniques, metadata management standards, taxonomy creation, controlled vocabularies development, and information architecture design.
* Knowledge of SEO best practices combined with analytics tools like Google Analytics 360 to optimize content visibility and engagement metrics.
* Programming skills in Python or JavaScript for scripting automation tasks; experience with XML/JSON for API integrations.
* Ability to translate complex business requirements into effective knowledge solutions through analysis skills and strategic content development.
* Familiarity with user research methodologies, wireframing tools (Figma or Balsamiq), wireframing techniques for UI/UX improvements; proficiency in Visio for process mapping.
* Strong understanding of records management standards alongside compliance with information governance policies; experience with Tableau for data visualization insights.
