Salary 45000 + Shift Team Lead role would have around 12 people will be led by the successful candidate.
- A two-cycle swing shift: 8.00am to 16.00 and 16.00 to 24.00 Monday to Friday every second week.
Job Purpose Lead and support the day-to-day activities of the production team to ensure the safe, efficient and compliant manufacture of products.
The role focuses on achieving production targets while maintaining the highest standards of Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost (SQDC).
The Team Lead will provide frontline leadership, coaching and support to production operators while driving continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities Production Leadership Lead and supervise production operators during the assigned shift.
Monitor production performance and ensure daily production targets are met.
Escalate production issues that may impact quality, delivery or customer requirements.
Ensure effective shift communication and handovers.
Operations & Performance Ensure all production activities comply with SOPs, work instructions and quality standards.
Support achievement of key production KPIs including Safety, Quality, Delivery, Efficiency, Scrap and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
Coordinate with Engineering and Maintenance to minimise downtime and resolve equipment issues.
Ensure production records and documentation are completed accurately.
People Leadership Provide daily leadership and training to production employees.
Support employee development, performance management and adherence to company procedures and policies.
Promote a positive, engaged and safety-focused team culture based on accountability, teamwork and continuous improvement.
Quality, Safety & Continuous Improvement Ensure compliance with ISO 13485, GMP, FDA and customer requirements.
Support investigations, corrective actions and audit activities.
Maintain high standards of housekeeping and workplace safety.
Participate in Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and quality.
Ensure preventative maintenance activities are completed as scheduled and report any equipment concerns.
Qualifications & Experience 4-5+ years' experience in a manufacturing or production leadership role.
Experience within precision engineering, medical device, pharmaceutical, electronics or other regulated manufacturing environments.
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, production planning and Health & Safety requirements.
Experience with: laser cutting, laser marking, electropolishing, robotics and automation desirable.
Knowledge of ISO 13485, GMP and FDA requirements.
Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma or Continuous Improvement experience.
Experience using ERP/MRP systems. xyswxtq
