The Role As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will take responsibility for the commercial management of major construction projects from inception through to final account, working closely with project teams to ensure commercial success.
Key Responsibilities Manage all commercial aspects of assigned construction projects.
Prepare and manage budgets, cost plans, and financial reporting.
Procure and manage subcontractor packages.
Administer subcontractor accounts, valuations, and final accounts.
Identify and manage commercial risks and opportunities.
Support project delivery teams to maximise project profitability.
Maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.
Requirements Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor with a main contractor.
Strong commercial and contractual knowledge.
Experience delivering large-scale residential or mixed-use construction projects is highly desirable.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative project team.
